I ended up buying the ruger basically because it was a beautiful looking setup with the light colored wooden stock and the beautiful stainless action and barrel. I had been shopping around and had looked at several remington model 700s, which i had meant to buy, when i came across this absolutely gorgeous ruger mkII m77.
